Hoo-ROO-Ray for ROOsevelt Re-ROOuters!
     The rerouted Roosevelt dimes collected at the Reunion picnic on September 15th totalled $717.00!  Thank you so much to everyone who jumped on this fundraiser even before the official kick-off.  You helped confirm my hunch that this is going to be a GREYT, ongoing and easy way to set aside some cash for the greyhounds!  Just imagine how many dimes all of us will be able to reroute in an entire year!
     There are about 60 collection containers "out there" right now.  We're sending one home with each newly adopted dog, and more are available.  My veterinarian agreed to have one on her counter, and it's filling up!  If you have a spot for a "ROOsevelt Re-ROOuter" dime container, please contact me (Lisa Blechle, at llblechle13@msn.com or (563)508-6457) or stop by the kennel.  They're on the lower shelf just inside the front door.
