M&G
: A Meet & Greet is your opportunity to meet available
greyhounds and/or adopted greyhounds and their owners!
S&T
: A Show & Tell is a short presentation with Q&A time
for schools or service groups that, per the host’s request, may or
may not include greyhounds on-site.
$$$
: A fund raising event. We operate 100% on donations and
volunteered time; please consider giving regularly.
JGF
: “Just GREYt Fun” events, organized
primarily to socialize with fellow greyhound lovers, with or without
our greyhounds and other dogs.

through October is Farmer's Market season all over the QC area! If
you see us there,
shopping with our greyhounds, please feel free to
come up and meet them!
July 2009
JGF/M&G 4th,
Saturday—4thFEST Parade,
Coralville IA, 10:00 am (“regular parade route”). Greyhound
adopters in the Iowa City area will be participating in the parade,
and will be around before and after to answer your questions about
adoption—just come up and say “Hi!”
JGF 12th,
Sunday—Dog Days of Summer @ The River Bandits Game!
6:00 pm. Dogs can get in on the fun of Family Sunday with a number
of dog-friendly activities presented by our friends at Tailz
'Er Waggin'
dog bakery and boutique! Seating is on the berm; bring a blanket or
chair.

Friday—Midsummer
Trivia Fix for
everyone--trivia junkies to newbies! Doors open at 6:00 pm, game
starts at 7:00 @ the Knights of Columbus Hall, 1111 West 35th
St., Davenport. This is QCGA's first “trivia night” fund
raiser, and is presented in memory of Garry Anderson. Click HERE

State 965).
