Looking to get together with some greyt dogs and their humans in the Iowa City/Coralville/Solon area? Give one of the West Coordinators a call or email and we’ll add you to our activity announcement list.

Our start-up activities have included meet & greets at a local pet store and farmers’ market and participation in two local parades. In the fall, we look forward to more meet & greets, gathering at Iowa City’s Paws for a Cause on 9/14 (at the Johnson County Fairgrounds) and hopefully a play date at the local dog park.

Our date for coming events are:

4^th, Saturday—4thFEST Parade, Coralville IA, 10:00 am (“regular parade route”).
Greyhound adopters in the Iowa City area will be participating in the parade, and
will be around before and after to answer your questions about adoption—just come up and say “Hi!”

Meet and Greets at Coralville Petco
    July 5th 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
    Aug 1st 10 a.m. - 2p.m.
    Sept. 5th 10 a.m. - 2p.m.
